Had this wonderful experience of AI making out the spoken language, and typing in that language.
- I used Google Docs so that my document is accessible cross-platform (but the option for voice-typing will appear for most apps like whatsapp, etc)
- Install GBoard (the Google keyboard) from PlayStore, and set it to default input method in “Language and Input” settings.
- In “Google voice typing” add the languages you wish to use. I added Hindi (Bharat).
- In the settings for GBoard, you can also add languages for “Offline Speech recognition” (Will download that language)
To voice-type, press the microphone icon.
As you speak, the system tries to make out the language you are speaking in.
